Tonight at 8:00pm, President Obama will announce a new executive order that will provide deferred action for many foreign nationals currently without legal status. It is expected that one group that will be affected is parents of United States citizen children. Potentially, this action could allow eligible individuals to remain in the U.S. and apply for work authorization.
